1. Who these terms are with

These terms are between the player and Dane Clarke trading as Midlands Padel Network. Contact hello@midlandspadelnetwork.co.uk. The virtual-office correspondence address will be published before paid bookings open.

2. Eligibility

Website-organised MPN events and leagues are for players aged 18 or over unless a listing expressly introduces a separately safeguarded junior activity. Players must provide accurate information and use only their own profile. Playtomic ratings guide matching and eligibility; MPN may review entries to preserve a fair and suitable playing level.

3. Accounts

Players are responsible for protecting their password and promptly correcting inaccurate account details. MPN may suspend an account where there is suspected misuse, abusive conduct, fraud, repeated no-shows or a material breach of these terms, after considering the circumstances fairly.

4. Event information and booking

The event page identifies the activity, date, time, venue, intended level, capacity and total individual price. A booking is accepted only when the website shows it as confirmed. Pending review, pending payment and waitlist positions are not confirmed places. Places cannot be sold or transferred without MPN’s prior approval.

5. Payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any mandatory website booking charges. Stripe securely processes card payments. Players authorise only the total shown at checkout. A payment receipt or confirmation will be sent electronically.

6. Cancellations and refunds

The Cancellation and Refund Policy forms part of these terms. In summary: MPN-cancelled activity receives a full refund; player cancellations at least seven clear days before the start receive a full refund; later refunds depend on MPN filling the place. Statutory rights are not affected.

7. Changes and cancellation by MPN

MPN may make reasonable changes to scheduling, format or venue. Players will be told about material changes and offered an appropriate remedy where the service becomes materially different. If MPN cancels an event, event-entry fees paid to MPN will be refunded. MPN is not responsible for separate travel, accommodation or court costs a player arranged independently, except where the law requires otherwise.

8. Safety and conduct

Players must follow venue rules, organiser instructions and the Event and Player Rules; use appropriate equipment; behave respectfully; and stop playing if injured or unwell. Participation in physical sport carries ordinary risks. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Results and disputes

Players must submit honest results and raise corrections promptly. MPN may correct clear errors, resolve eligibility or conduct issues, and make reasonable competition decisions under the published format. A player may ask for a decision to be reviewed by emailing MPN.

10. Privacy and communications

Essential account and booking messages are part of the service and are not marketing. Optional marketing requires a separate choice. Personal information is handled under the Privacy Notice.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Players retain any mandatory consumer rights and may bring proceedings in any court available to them under applicable law.
