Participation

• Website-organised activity is for players aged 18 or over unless expressly stated otherwise.
• Use your own profile and keep your rating and contact details accurate.
• Enter the level that genuinely reflects your current ability.
• Arrive in time, with appropriate clothing and equipment, and follow venue instructions.

Safety

Players are responsible for deciding whether they are fit to participate and should stop if injured or unwell. Report hazards, accidents and safeguarding concerns to the organiser promptly. Emergency services should be contacted directly where urgent assistance is needed.

Conduct

Treat players, organisers, venue teams and officials with respect. Harassment, discrimination, threats, deliberate cheating, dangerous play and abusive behaviour are not accepted. Serious or repeated issues may lead to removal from an event or suspension from MPN activity after a fair review.

Ratings and reviews

Ratings help create appropriate games but are not the only consideration. Competitive and out-of-range entries may be reviewed by an administrator. Providing misleading information can result in rejection or reassignment.

Results

Submit results accurately and only with the opponents’ agreement. Raise genuine errors promptly. MPN’s published competition format and tie-break rules apply to each season.

Photography

MPN may take general photographs or short video clips to document and promote the community. Players can opt out in My MPN or tell the organiser on the day. An opt-out will be respected for identifiable promotional use.

Reporting a concern

Email hello@midlandspadelnetwork.co.uk. Include the event, date and enough detail for MPN to review the concern fairly. Confidentiality will be respected as far as reasonably possible.
